 ERASMUS “THE LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME”

 

Erasmus is a kind of certificate to enable our College to apply for funding for specific actions provided for in the Erasmus program, which aims primarily to develop the quality and attractiveness of vocational education and to facilitate international cooperation and exchanges in education. 

 

the Lifelong Learning Program is a new program of the European Union in the field of education and training, scheduled for 2007-2013. Been included programs already implemented in the SOCRATES and LEONARDO DA VINCI program, Jean Monnet, e-Learning and the European Language Label.

The aim of the "Lifelong learning" is to intensify European cooperation and exchanges in the field of education in the four programs:

- Comenius

- Erasmus

- Leonardo da Vinci

- Grundtvig

 

and Transversal Program and the Jean Monnet.

Erasmus is a program of cooperation between universities. It is primarily designed for universities, their students and staff. In some of its shares may attend other institutions, organizations or companies that cooperate with universities.

- 27 European Union countries,

- 3 European Economic Area countries Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway,

- The candidate country: Turkey
