Partner Universities

 

The Complutense University, Spain

On September 28, 2009 the University College of Tourism and Ecology signed a cooperation agreement with the Complutense University in Spain. Escuela Universitaria de Estadistica, based in Madrid is one of the largest public universities with a total student body of more than 100,000.

Both Universities declared cooperation within the Erasmus programme, agreed to prepare and implement joint educational projects as well as to exchange experience and good practices. They also decided to organize a bilateral seminar on subjects of common interest and an joint scientific conference.

The University of Bedfordsire in Luton, Great Britain – a cooperation agreement.

Collaboration with the University of Bedfordsire consists in the exchange of training programmes, learning materials, student work, coordination of joint research, developing a common curriculum, credit rating events, study visits undertaken by teaching staff of both Universities, lectures held in English for students the University College of Tourism and Ecology, the exchange of professional experience, appointing coordinators responsible for the programme implementation, etc.

Both Universities are committed to teaching excellence, developing common assessment methods, student evaluation and recruitment procedures. Students of the University College of Tourism and Ecology may continue their education in pursuance of the University of Luton BA Travel and Tourism degree award (3+1 or 2+2  programmes) – our University looks after and supports

Polish students continuing their education at the University of Bedfordsire, e.g. providing a place of residence.

 

Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences, Hungary – a cooperation agreement on the student and teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme. The collaboration also consists in the exchange of experience, organizing lectures and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education at the partner university. János Kodolányi Föiskola educates over 10,000 students in the following subject areas: administration, communication, tourism, medicine, humanities, social sciences and international relations.

 

Anadolu University, Turkey -  a cooperation agreement on student and the teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme. The collaboration also consists in the  exchange of experience, organizing lectures and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education at the partner university.

Anadolu University, Eskişehir offers courses on: social sciences, economics, humanities, engineering, business, architecture, law and medicine.

 

 INP - Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões, Portugal - a cooperation agreement on student and teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme. The collaboration also consists in the  exchange of experience, organizing lectures and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education at the partner university.

Instituto Superior Novas Profissões in Lisbon offers courses on: tourism, advertising, administration and management, social communication and journalism.

 

Károly Róbert College, Hungary - a cooperation agreement on student and teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme. The collaboration also consists in the  exchange of experience, organizing lectures and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education at the partner university.

The College educates students in the following areas: earth sciences, management, administration, IT, social sciences, tourism, regional development and marketing.

 

University of Savoy in Chambery, France – a framework agreement on academic exchange, including teaching staff exchange, trainee exchange, joint research projects and exchange of publications and academic information.

 

The University College of Economics in Szolnok, Hungary -  exchange of experience, academic staff exchange, joint ventures.

 

The Higher Trade School of Tourism Management in Chemnitz, Germany - scientific cooperation and exchange of experience. Co-organization of scientific conferences and seminars for teachers and students within the Weimar Triangle. Student and teaching staff exchange.

 

The University of Milan, Italy – organization of conferences. The University College of Tourism and Ecology and the University of Milan have organized a joint scientific conference held in Poland. The cooperation with the University of Milan resulted in the exchange of professional experience.

 

The Institute of Economics and Management ECOMEN in Tallinn, Estonia - a cooperation agreement on student and teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme. ECOMEN is one of the largest non-public universities in Estonia. It offers courses on economics and business management in different areas, e.g. in tourism and environmental protection. The cooperation agreement consists in the exchange of experience, organizing lectures and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education at the partner university.

 

Rezeknes Augstskola, Latvia -  a cooperation agreement covering activities under the Erasmus programme (student exchange programmes, student internships, etc.). This Latvian university offers courses on IT, social sciences and management. It was formed by the merger of the University of Latvia and the Riga Technical University.

 

Izobraževalni Center Piramida Maribor, Višja Strokovna Sola, Slovenia -  a cooperation agreement on student and teaching staff exchange under the Erasmus programme.

 

The Jagiellonian University

On 1st July, 2008 the University College of Tourism and Ecology signed a cooperation agreement with the Jagiellonian University, which consists in developing common curricula for undergraduate degree courses within the Political Science Department, which are held at the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations (within the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University) and providing students with the opportunity to continue their education in pursuance of the Master's degree award at the same faculty of the Jagiellonian University.

This cooperation also lies in organization of scientific conferences, preparing and implementation of joint projects co-financed by the European Union and joint publishing activities. The agreement allows teaching staff of the University College of Tourism and Ecology to obtain academic degrees at the Faculty of International and Political Studies and the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed, among others, by the Rector of the Jagiellonian University, prof. dr hab. Karol Musiał and the Rector of the University College of Tourism and Ecology, prof. dr hab. Janusz Sondel.
